Biography

Dr. Adam Yock is a medical physicist and technology leader advancing precision cancer treatment through smarter, more adaptable radiation therapy. As Director of Technology and Innovation in Vanderbilt’s Department of Radiation Oncology, he oversees the clinical integration of advanced techniques such as image-guided and adaptive radiotherapy (IGRT/ART), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).

With a background in physics and engineering, Dr. Yock develops and deploys technologies that enhance treatment accuracy, streamline clinical workflows, and support data-driven decision making. His work includes novel approaches to morphometric analysis, treatment plan robustness, and AI-guided adaptation. He collaborates widely—across disciplines and international borders—to help move innovative solutions from concept to clinic, creating real-world impact in oncology care.
