Top ten startups selected to pitch for 36|86’s Southern Series

Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) along with their partners at Valor Ventures announce the selection of ten startups pitching at the 36|86 Southern Series Atlanta event on April 12th.

Each Southern Series pitch provides an opportunity to celebrate the brightest regional startups and to identify the very best entrepreneurs located throughout the Southeast. Winners advance to LaunchTN’s inaugural 36|86 conference June 6 & 7 in Nashville for the opportunity to win prizes, including $50,000 to the winner while networking with fellow entrepreneurs, investors and media from across the country. All Southern Series winners selected to attend 36|86 will receive a travel and lodging stipend.

The ten companies pitching in Atlanta on April 12th at Emory University’s Miller-Ward Alumni House for the chance to be one of the featured startups at 36|86 in June are the following:

Neurotargeting: Nashville, TN: NeuroTargeting’s mission is to organize, enrich and integrate the world’s neurological data to improve patient care.

Privet: Atlanta, GA: Privet is a next-generation social network that allows responsible users to connect authentically about real-life issues and challenges.

Proxy Server: Athens, GA: Proxy Server’s service allows you to use public Wi-Fi safely.

RightPatient: Atlanta, GA: RightPatient provides a cloud-based SaaS platform to accurately recognize patients from any encounter end point by simply taking their picture.

SherpaDesk: Atlanta, GA: SherpaDesk focuses on what matters most to professional services – time. The complete solution to manage customers, capture billable time and monitor projects’ profitability.

SmartCommerce: Atlanta, GA: SmartCommerce empowers leading CPG brand marketing teams to own and drive their customer experience, from discovery through purchase.

Vendor Registry: Knoxville, TN: Vendor Registry’s SaaS procurement platform is streamlining the $250 billion local government market.
