The Vanderbilt Entrepreneurship through Tech Transfer (VETTT) Program is a paid internship opportunity designed to provide MBA students with practical experience in various aspects of commercializing technologies from academic labs by building a startup business concept.
Key goals of the program include:
- Providing MBA students with hands-on experience in recruiting and managing talent, evaluating commercial viability of technologies, building commercialization plans for a startup, preparing for a fundraising process, and navigating uncertainty
- Providing diligence on technologies to help prioritize CTTC resources
- Enabling rapid launch of Vanderbilt’s most promising technologies
This program is jointly sponsored by the Owen Center for Entrepreneurship and Vanderbilt’s Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Innovation.
