Biography
Alex joined CTTC in June 2026 from Vanderbilt’s Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology Department in the Molecular Pathology and Immunology program, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. under Dr. Heather Pua. His research focuses on the impact of T cell extracellular vesicle signaling on cellular immunity during tissue inflammation. He also serves on the executive board of Vanderbilt’s S Phase Bio Club where he teaches students small-cap biotech valuation. Prior to Vanderbilt, Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry with a minor in finance at the University of San Diego.
