Powerful new method for quantifying the rates of intracellular metabolic pathways

The MFA Suite™ (Metabolic Flux Analysis Suite), a software toolkit providing a powerful approach for quantifying the rates, or “fluxes”, of intracellular metabolic pathways, is growing. Developed by Jamey Young, Ph.D., assistant professor of molecular physiology and biophysics, the toolkit now also includes the INCA application, which is a MATLAB-based software package for isotopomer network modeling and metabolic flux analysis. Academic users may license and download the INCA application free of charge. Below the inventor describes how the technology can be used, who it can be used by, and what makes it unique. Watch the videos to learn more about INCA and to see it in action.
