Emanuela Riglioni, Ph.D. Candidate

Emanuela joined CTTC in June 2026 from Vanderbilt's Interdisciplinary Materials Science program, where she is earning her Ph.D. Under Dr. Sharon Weiss. Her research focuses on engineering photonic structures for telecommunications and quantum applications. For two years, she has also served as a NanoGuide through the Vanderbilt Institute of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE) where she led various STEM outreach activities. Before arriving at Vanderbilt, Emanuela earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana.
