LANTERN is an AI-powered assessment platform that evaluates student reading development through oral reading and spoken retell responses. The platform combines speech-to-text transcription with network analysis to measure reading fluency, reading errors, thematic coherence, and comprehension while generating educator-facing summaries and visualizations. The follow-on award will support development of proprietary analytic workflows, dashboard tools, and scalable interpretation frameworks.
