Testing and Clinical Validation of a Prototype Remote Sensing Device to Monitor Supplemental Oxygen Changes for Early Detection of Clinical Deterioration

Application Cycle
October 2025

This project develops a low-cost, universally compatible device that attaches to in-wall oxygen flowmeters to automatically detect and record changes in delivery. Using inertial sensing and WiFi connectivity, the device provides accurate, calibration-free data to improve clinical documentation and serve as an early signal of patient deterioration.
