DAGCAP aims to create a streamlined and automated curation system that mitigates challenges associated with medical charting. Increases in the quality of curation would drastically expand research, clinical, and operational capabilities across oncology care and research.
Dr. Daniel Fabbri is a leading voice in healthcare data security and AI-driven informatics. As the founder of Maize Analytics—based on his PhD research—he transformed how health systems monitor access to patient records using machine learning. Maize grew to become an award-winning leader in patient privacy monitoring, acquired first by SecureLink and then Imprivata, where Dr. Fabbri served as Chief Data Scientist.
At Vanderbilt, he directs Informatics Innovation at VUMC, where his lab develops tools for secure, scalable access to clinical data. His latest venture, Brim Analytics, applies AI to dramatically reduce chart review time for researchers, recently earning an ARPA-H award to scale its impact. Through startups, strategic advising, and federally funded research, Dr. Fabbri is shaping the future of secure, intelligent health data use—bringing cutting-edge AI from the lab into hospitals and clinics across the country.
