About VEN:
The Vanderbilt Entrepreneurship Network (VEN) is a collaborative effort between Tech Venture Challenge (TVC, www.techventurechallenge.org/ ) an educational event that allows students to learn the process of commercializing early technologies, facilitates networking between researchers and business professionals, and showcases emerging intellectual property from Vanderbilt University, LifeScienceTN Academic Alliance (www.lifesciencetn.org/?page=AcademicAlliance) an organization focused on bringing life science and business graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, together to create opportunities for entrepreneurship, career development, and knowledge sharing with the goal of creating a life science industry network and Vanderbilt Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society (VINES, https://anchorlink.vanderbilt.edu/organization/VINES), a community and an educational resource for students from Vanderbilt University with interest in entrepreneurship or innovation.
VEN aims to engage and empower Vanderbilt student community on entrepreneurship, lean startup principals and technology commercialization through education, programming and mentorship. VEN main focus is collaboration and comradery amongst various Student organizations on campus that are created around the central theme of entrepreneurship. VEN’s mantra – Entrepreneurship, Powered by Vanderbilt!
