Emilee Patterson, Ph.D. Candidate

Emilee is a Ph.D candidate in Dr. Allison Walker’s Lab from Vanderbilt’s Department of Biological Sciences and joined the CTTC in June of 2026. She came to Vanderbilt from Hartwick College where she earned her bachelor's degree in biology. Her current research focuses on transcriptional regulators that govern expression of bacterial biosynthetic gene clusters for novel drug discovery. Outside of the lab she is president of the BioSci Graduate Student Association and a member of the Aspire Path in Molecular Medicine (APMM).
