- Matches the industry’s research needs with faculty researchers
- Facilitates discussions between the company and faculty
- Guides proposal discussion and development
- Expedites the pre-award and project implementation processes
Engages with local, regional, and national partners by promoting university technology to advance regional economic development.
Innovation & Research Ecosystem
- Partners across the Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center research and innovation ecosystem to facilitate and promote corporate and faculty engagement
- Maintains open lines of communication and mutual support across campus to leverage broader resources for robust corporate partnerships
- Build collaboration networks between Vanderbilt and the local Nashville innovation ecosystem, as well as expand our reach and impact across Tennessee and nationwide.
- Connects corporate partners with internal academic resources for potential internships and career paths for students
Develops strategic industry partnerships builds robust corporate relationships, and discovers new strategic alliances.
- Establish new long-term, comprehensive corporate partnerships
- Administer, nurture, and augment current industry partnerships
- Support close interactions with academic division leadership, faculty, research groups, and centers
