Seeking Novel Composting Additives and Technologies

A global leading technology company is seeking novel research and expertise in silicon photonics materials and technologies. The company is interested in advancements across all areas of integrated photonics and optoelectronics, characterized by low power consumption, high density, high integration, and high-speed performance.

 Approaches of interest:

  • Materials, additives, and biologicals that enhance composting efficiency
  • Novel organo-mineral fertilizers derived from agricultural waste
  • Technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during composting
  • Methods for CO2 capture or odor trapping from compost piles
  • Techniques to reduce composting time or enable in situ composting

 Developmental stage of interest: 

  •  Technologies at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 (proof of concept) and beyond

The company is open to various collaboration models, including licensing, investment, and research partnerships. Potential funding of up to $100,000 for one-year proof of concept development is available.
