KeraFAST Lunch and Learn: The Investigator's Annexe

Do you receive frequent requests to share your unique research materials?  KeraFAST is an e-commerce site that facilitates the commercialization of life science research materials that you have created in your laboratory and have in stock.  The program is designed to be a convenient way to distribute materials to the research community with minimal paperwork.  A portion of the revenues are returned to the inventors according to Vanderbilt policy.

Venture Match

Tuesday, April 30, Launch Tennessee will host Venture Match – a “speed dating” event for entrepreneurs and inventors. The goal is to connect the state’s top innovators and entrepreneurs and explore potential “matches” between entrepreneurs and technologies in order to develop new companies, create sustainable jobs, and build value for investors. The event will be held at the Vanderbilt University Club from 6 – 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

New Venture Valuation Seminar

The Center for Technology Transfer & Commercialization, in partnership with the Cool Springs Life Sciences Center will host a New Venture Valuation Workshop Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, from 8 – 10:30 am at the Cools Springs Life Sciences Center.

The session will be led by Glenn Perdue, managing member of Kraft Analytics, LLC and certified valuation analyst, and will focus on new venture and intellectual property valuation as it pertains to academia.

SBIR / STTR Workshop

The Vanderbilt University Center for Technology Transfer & Commercialization's New Ventures team, in partnership with LaunchTennessee, will host an SBIR / STTR Workshop, Tuesday May 21st, 2013, from 9:30 am to noon at Vanderbilt School of Engineering, in Stevenson 5326.

Commercialization of Surplus Lab Reagents

Please join CTTC and Kerafast, Inc. on Wednesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. in MRB III, room 1220, for a presentation regarding the commercialization of surplus laboratory reagents (e.g. antibodies, expression vectors, peptides, siRNA, small and large molecule compounds, etc.). Kerafast representatives will be on site to discuss The Investigator's Annexe, their innovative approach to reagent commercialization.
