Lunch & Learn with GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) Jon Collins

Come hear Dr. Jon Collins, Director of Chemistry for GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) Discovery Partnerships with Academia program.  Jon will discuss the importance of academic-industry collaborations in the biological and pharmaceutical fields, and will describe GSK’s program for academic partnerships – known as DPAc.  To conclude the lecture, Jon will announce a Vanderbilt-specific Request for Proposals, whereby Vanderbilt scientists can apply to receive up to $150k in support of their early stage small molecule research efforts. 

Tech Venture Challenge

THE TECHVENTURE CHALLENGE IS A 6-WEEK BUSINESS COMPETITION THAT EDUCATES INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDENT TEAMS ON COMMERCIALIZATION STRATEGIES, FACILITATES NETWORKING BETWEEN RESEARCHERS AND BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS, AND SHOWCASES EMERGING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FROM VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY.

CTTC Flash Pitch '16

The Flash Pitch Competition is an innovative program organized by the Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CTTC) and co-hosted with the Wond'ry to provide Vanderbilt students with an opportunity to jump-start their entrepreneurial dreams by presenting their start-up idea to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs.

VandyHacks III

Founded in the spring of 2015, VandyHacks was the first collegiate hackathon to call the rockin' city of Nashville, Tennessee home. Now, we're proud to bring you VandyHacks III- and it's gonna be even bigger and better. From November 11-13, 350+ students from universities all over the nation will meet at Vanderbilt University for a weekend of collaboration, innovation, and great food
