Entrepreneurship Orientation

The Entrepreneurship Orientation is the required first step for anyone to meet with an EC mentor. In this orientation, we cover: 

1. Overview of the EC

2. Overview of the Mentor Program

3. Crash Course on the IdeaFrame

4. Crash Course on how to be prepared for your first mentor meeting

Who should attend: Anyone interested in meeting with an EC Mentor must first attend this.

LIFE SCIENCE TENNESSEE EVENT:

Life Science Tennessee along with Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP are presenting a series of "Ask the Experts" panel discussions to coincide with the LifeSciTN Mentor Network. The series is for early-stage entrepreneurs and researchers who want to pursue the process of commercialization of life science technologies. Join us for the the first panel titled "Ask the Experts: Advice on Academic Partners, IP and Regulatory Hurdles for Life Science Start-Ups."

Who should attend? Graduate students and Post-doctoral fellows

Grab a morning coffee with us as the EC and The Tennessean present Sip It: Nashville's Story.  From 8am to 9am on the fourth Tuesday of each month, we host a coffee, discussion and Q/A with some of Nashville's most active entrepreneurs and leaders. 

This series will focus on stories of individuals and industries that have affected the surge of Nashville as one of the top cities for business and entrepreneurship in the US.

This event is free for EC Members and non-members to attend.  Free parking located right outside the building.

This monthly 3-part series will run from April - June to provide community members an opportunity to get inside the thoughts of Nashville's Technology leaders! Each month will cover a different topic to create a thorough knowledge set around successfully launching a tech product or company!

For those interested, on Thursday, November 5, there will be a career fair and networking event (primarily for students). Please note that only registered attendees will be able to attend the career fair and networking event.
