Startup Fast Track Pitch Competition

Who:  Innovative students from within all majors and skill sets
What:  A mini pitch competition & innovation challenge where students pair into teams to develop innovative approaches to real world problems. Prizes will be awarded in each category, based on a panel of judges and scores from your peers.

When:  March 25, 2018 from 4-8pm CT

Enabling Innovation Initiative lecture

Dr. David L. Black, Ph.D., F-ABFT, FAIC, will present "Accidental Entrepreneur: From scientist to business man in 20 short years." Dr. Black will share insights for young scientist-entrepreneurs interested in starting their own ventures or becoming a valuable contributing member of established companies. His hard-won knowledge of leadership traits and establishing cultures that create success will be relevant to any career path trainees choose to pursue.

CTTC Flash Pitch '18

The Flash Pitch Competition is an innovative program sponsored by the Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CTTC) and co-hosted with the Wond'ry. The objective of the Flash Pitch Competition is to provide Vanderbilt students with an opportunity to jump-start their entrepreneurial dreams by presenting their start-up idea to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs for some critical feedback.

NashCocktail

Established in July 2010, NashCocktail is a fun evening of casual networking, and free food and drinks.

Each month, marketers, developers, digital specialists, recruiters and tech-related individuals network to meet new people, employees and friends. This is a stellar community of creative and supportive individuals who have a passion for their profession.

CTTC Office Hours at The Wond'ry

CTTC's licensing and new ventures officers have regular office hours at the Wond'ry on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00 to 2:30 on the third floor (you'll see the signs on the outside of the offices).
