Ancora Innovations, a collaboration between Vanderbilt University and Deerfield Management, is focused on the union of Vanderbilt’s innovative life science discovery efforts and Deerfield’s commitment to accelerating state-of-the-art drug development The collaboration has recently evolved to include an Exploratory Biologics Initiative to provide support for faculty with innovative ideas for early-stage, exploratory projects for targeting a certain protein or pathway.
Ancora is hosting an Information Session titled “Exploratory Biologics Initiative” on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm to describe the opportunity (registration information below). Funded projects advance through two stages: generation of exploratory biologic tools to enable target validation/proof-of-concept studies; and with positive data/outcomes, consideration for therapeutic candidate discovery/development.
