VUMC's Brock Family Center for Applied Innovation and the Center for Technology Transfer & Commercialization present a new seminar series "From Concept to Commercialization: Translational and Entrepreneurial Journeys" featuring Dr. Susan Eagle as the inaugural speaker. Dr. Eagle will share her experiences launching three medical startup ventures on March 21 at 2:00pm in Light Hall 208.

Dr. Susan Eagle is a Professor of Anesthesiology, researcher, and entrepreneur at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her practice in cardiothoracic anesthesiology has inspired her to create medical technologies that fill critical gaps in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery.

Dr. Eagle has successfully ushered medical devices from concept to licensing and commercialization via three startup ventures. Dr. Eagle has received awards in clinical medicine, mentorship, and business, including Google Entrepreneurs, SEMDA, and NEXT.
