Come join the Life Science Tennessee Mid-South Academic Alliance on Thursday, September 8th for our first Beer and Biotech event of the Fall! This event begins at 5:45 PM for networking at Pyro's Pizza on Union. At 6:30 PM we will begin our speaker presentation featuring Angela Copeland, CEO of Copeland coaching!

Angela Copeland is a career coach and CEO at her firm, Copeland Coaching (http://copelandcoaching.com). She is the host of the Copeland Coaching Podcast, Career Corner columnist, and author of career e-book “Breaking The Rules & Getting The Job.” 

Angela’s personal career background in technology and business gives her the breadth to help job seekers with a variety of different needs. At her role of Vice President of Digital and eCommerce at First Tennessee Bank, she was the business owner for retail online banking website and the bank’s mobile channels. Previously, Angela was the Director of Digital Strategy and Marketing at ServiceMaster and the Director of Internet Marketing for the Memphis CVB. Angela was also part of the IT team at FedEx, and the engineering teams at Westinghouse and General Motors.

Angela earned a MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. In 2011, Angela was selected by the Memphis Business Journal for Top 40 Under 40. She grew up tall outside of Oklahoma City, where she is a sixth-generation Oklahoman. Angela has three brothers, enjoys traveling, and has a passion for helping her clients find the right job!
