When:
Saturday, October 15, 2016 - 8:00am to 7:00pm

What Is BarCamp Nashville?

BarCamp Nashville is a free social gathering for the local tech community.

What's So Great About It?

Well, for starters, it’s doesn’t cost you anything. But more importantly, 2016 marks the tenth consecutive year for this thriving unconference. It’s unbelievable to see how far Nashville has grown since the beginning, but BarCamp Nashville is still a grassroots event aimed at bringing together newcomers to the city with locally-sourced talent. The purpose is to create a welcoming atmosphere for anyone looking to improve the Nashville tech scene with us.

When Is It?

Please join us on Saturday, October 15 to connect with developers, entrepreneurs, digital doers and freelancers at the Bowtruss Building in Germantown. Meet new friends, connect with old ones and learn from like-minded professionals who have built successful businesses and grown alongside this great city.

Why Should I Attend?

Attendees at BarCamp are encouraged to get involved through volunteering, presenting a session or learning from others. If you’re involved in the tech space in any way, we want to hear from you! Sharing your passions (both personal and professional) will help the community grow and better understand Nashville’s rich tech talent. Past sessions have included “How To Be A Six-Figure Developer,” “Confessions of a Remote Worker,” “Mindfulness at Work” and even “Roast Your Own Coffee with A Popcorn Popper.” Clearly, the sky’s the limit.

We are proud to be the go-to community gathering for Nashville tech heads. Almost all of the city’s digital leaders (Dave Delaney, Kate O’Neill, Marcus Whitney, Nicholas Holland, Knight Stivender and many others) have been directly involved in BarCamp at some point in time. We’re proud to have such a rich history and can’t wait for another amazing event in 2016!
