Eligibility & Requirements
- Accredited, US-based academic institution [Page 2]
- Institution must have fellowship program that includes independent research and strong mentoring program [Page 2]
- Clinical training may be included but not required [Page 2]
- Fellow must be U.S. Worker (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or hold appropriate non-immigrant visa authorizing U.S. employment [Page 2]
- Do not include name of potential fellow(s) in application materials [Page 2]
- No aspect of fellowship program can benefit Pfizer's business or a Pfizer asset [Page 2, Page 3]
- Fellow time in clinical setting supported by grant funds must not be billed as patient care [Page 2, Page 3]
- Excluded research: pharmaceutical product studies, basic science/fundamental research (animal model, in-vitro) [Page 2]
- Selected fellow will be named in U.S. Physician Payments Sunshine Act transparency reporting [Page 2]
- Evaluation Criteria: Fellowship goals, objectives, medical needs and population health, patient care experience, program criteria, mentoring, training opportunities, and resources [Page 4]
