Approaches of interest:
- Mitochondrial aging and its impact on skin cell performance
- Methods to classify cells as senescent or healthy across various models
- Research into epigenetic changes in skin associated with aging
- In vivo diagnostics for senescence, epigenetic, or cellular energetic profiling
- Active ingredients and adjunctive therapies for skin health
Out of scope:
- Drug repurposing and late-stage commercial products
- Research supported solely by animal model data
Developmental stage of interest:
- Opportunities from TRL 2 to TRL 5 are within scope.
