Novus International, Inc., a global leader in animal health and nutrition solutions, is seeking additive-based solutions to increase fat and protein content in cow's milk. The company aims for practical, scalable, low-cost, and efficacious solutions.

 Approaches of interest:

  • Stable product or combination solutions
  • Modification of animal microbiome, focusing on direct-fed microbials
  • Novel direct-fed microbials, enzymes, and small molecules affecting fat and protein metabolism

 Out of scope:

  • Improving feed quality or changing physical properties of feed
  • Animal genetics research
  • Compounds with known registration challenges

Developmental stage of interest: Opportunities between TRL3 and TRL6 with proof-of-concept from animal studies are preferred. In-vitro data with scientific basis will also be considered.
