Venture Match

When:
Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Tuesday, April 30, Launch Tennessee will host Venture Match – a “speed dating” event for entrepreneurs and inventors. The goal is to connect the state’s top innovators and entrepreneurs and explore potential “matches” between entrepreneurs and technologies in order to develop new companies, create sustainable jobs, and build value for investors. The event will be held at the Vanderbilt University Club from 6 – 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

At the event, inventors and entrepreneurs will hear from guest speaker Benoit Dawant, Cornelius Vanderbilt Chair in Engineering and VUSE professor. Dawant co-founded Neurotargeting, LLC in 2007 with ViSE members Pierre-Francois D’Haese, research assistant professor of electrical engineering and CEO of Neurotargeting, and Peter Konrad, associate professor of neurosurgery.
