The Innovation Catalyst Fund offers translational research support for Vanderbilt innovations that need proof of concept to achieve commercial relevance, have strong innovation potential, or focus on research with civic and social impact.
Managed by the Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization (CTTC), this program operates under the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Innovation, with input from the Division of Finance, VUMC Office of Research, and academic leadership across Vanderbilt’s schools and colleges.
All full-time faculty from Vanderbilt University or VUMC are eligible to apply across disciplines—ranging from Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, to Bioscience & Healthcare. Part-time faculty, staff, and students are not eligible.
