They may not have walked away with the million dollar award, but the founders of InvisionHeart gained irreplaceable knowledge and experience from the 2013 Global Food and Health Innovation Challenge. CEO and co-founder Josh Nickols, Ph.D., took the stage to tell a panel of judges why they should invest the innovation award in his company's wireless EKG system. Among his reasons were the immediate sharing of critical patient information, the ability for all care providers touching the patient to review and edit EKG results, two-way communication between caregivers, and billing efficiencies.
InvisionHeart was one of just six companies selected to present. US Biologic out of Memphis won the challenge, with Phytoption coming in second. Congratulations to both.
