CTTC co-hosts technology in healthcare event

CTTC in collaboration with Merck Global Healthcare Innovation and Cambridge Biopartners held a panel discussion titled Transforming Medicine through Healthcare Technology Innovation.

The event was sponsored by the Merck Global Health Innovation (GHI) investment fund and the panelists included:  Kevin Johnson, M.D., M.S., Chief Informatics Officer, Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor and Chair of  Biomedical Informatics, and Professor of Pediatrics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Drew Ladner, President and CEO,  Pascal Metrics Inc. and Jordan Asher , M.D., M.S.,  Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Innovation Officer, MissionPoint Health Partners.

The session was moderated by Tom Lloyd, Principal, Accelerated Solutions Environment, Capgemini North America. The discussion focused on Investing in healthcare technology, how population health management and data exchange will support future healthcare delivery and new delivery models, and improving patient outcomes and reducing costs in the system with usable data.
